Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of notama.app and the Notama application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information at signup and keep it current.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to store or share unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Attempt to access data, accounts, or systems you are not authorized to access.
• Interfere with or overload the Service, its servers, or APIs.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without permission.
• Use the Service to transmit malware or conduct phishing.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, at our discretion, with or without notice.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create in Notama. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your content solely to operate the Service for you. Notes you publish as public links are your responsibility; ensure you have the right to share them.

4. AI features

AI features (such as AI Second Brain) are provided "as is" and may produce inaccurate output. You are responsible for reviewing AI results before relying on them. AI features can be disabled in settings.

5. Invites and availability

Notama is currently invite-only. We may limit, delay, or revoke invites, and the Service may change, be paused, or be discontinued at any time without liability. Some features are marked "coming soon" and may not yet be available.

6. Fees

The Service is currently free during the invite-only period. Paid plans may be introduced later. Any paid plan will be presented with clear pricing before you are charged. You can cancel a paid plan at any time.

7. Service changes

We may update, add, or remove features. Material changes that affect your use or billing will be communicated in advance.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from settings. We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these terms or create risk to the Service. On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days unless retention is required by law.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Use it at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Notama and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Jakarta, unless you and we agree otherwise.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
